Procedure: COLONOSCOPIC POLYPECTOMY
Indication: PR bleeding
Medication: Under sedation
FINDINGS:
SEEN UP TO CAECUM: An ulcero proliferative growth is seen at the ascending colon. A polyp is seen at the sigmoid colon the polyp is removed by diathermy snare. The mucosa, vascular pattern and the lumen of the caecum, rest of the colon and rectum appeared healthy.
BIOPSY: Taken from-
A. Growth at the ascending colon for histopathology.
B. Removed polyps are sent for histopathology.
COMMENTS: Ca. ascending colon with sigmoid colonic polyps at Colonoscopy.
THERAPEUTIC INTERVENTION: Colonoscopic polypectomy done.
