This is the first in a series of videos documenting a live, paid, client motion design project.
The idea is I’ll share whatever limited creative insight I have, and you can ask questions as we go along. If there’s anything I think is interesting for others I’ll address it in future videos.
I’ve no idea what the final deliverables will look like! As I write this now the project is at a very early stage, with basic animation explorations. Um, very basic in some cases (you'll see).
It’s a motion branding project, which I’ve never done before (certainly not one with this kind of scope) and is a dream project for a motion designer. The client is also being insanely cool in letting me document the process in real time.
I’ll cover the obvious stuff, such as:
► Interpreting Client Briefs
► Quoting
► Software
► Budgets and Deadlines
► The Creative Process
But I REALLY want this to be an interaction, especially for those less experienced at motion design. So ask away.
