PoE 3.24 | Shrapnel is still excellent for single target
The AoE nerfs for single target seem pretty mild. Looks fine to me, I'll be full time using this then performing this test again once I hit super high budget and am ailment capping on Ubers and have more time, but I wanted to give people who didn't have a test setup a rough idea of what the new Shrapnel looks like in endgame.
I ran about 20x maven, 10x shaper, and 20x constrictors. I left out Shaper because the tests ended up being the same as Constrictor. I saw some more variance in the damage between Shrapnel than I did in 3.23, which seems likely due to the higher RNG nature of its damage with fewer overlaps. My best guess is +/- 5-10% but it's really hard to double check that without more time and I'd like to league start.
