We were so excited to welcome internationally renowned mandolin virtuosos Mike Marshall and Caterina Lichtenberg at the MIM Music Theater on February 18! It was the 100-year anniversary of a special batch of Gibson instruments signed by famed acoustic engineer Lloyd Loar, including Marshall’s well-worn F-5 mandolin and Loar’s personal F-5 mandolin. In this video, enjoy a performance of a Raffaele Calace composition on which Marshall is playing Loar’s own F-5 mandolin.
