Dussehra Celebration at DPS Bijnor
"Dussehra reminds us that truth and righteousness will always prevail." - Ramayana
On the auspicious occasion of Dussehra, Grade IV students of Delhi Public School, Bijnor came together to celebrate with immense enthusiasm and fervor. Our assembly featured a series of performances that brought to life the timeless tale of Ramayana.
We began with enchanting Ram Stuti, where our talented students recited verses praising Lord Ram, setting a devotional tone for the day. The students depicted the poignant moment of Sita Haran, showcasing the abduction of Sita by Ravana. This performance highlighted the themes of courage and loyalty, emphasizing Sita's unwavering strength. The assembly then transitioned to the epic battle in Ram-Ravan Yuddh. Our young warriors skillfully portrayed the fierce confrontation, illustrating the struggle between good and evil, with Ram’s valor shining through.
Following the battle, we witnessed Ravan Dehan, the dramatic scene of Ravana’s defeat. This performance reminded us that evil ultimately succumbs to righteousness, reinforcing the moral of the festival.
To conclude our assembly, we performed the Ram Sita Aarti, a heartfelt prayer that celebrated the victory of Lord Ram and Sita. This moment united us in gratitude and reverence, as we sought blessings for peace and harmony.
