"The heart teaches us that every beat counts, just as every action in life shapes our well-being."

The students of Grade XI B at Delhi Public School, Bijnor recently participated in two highly educational and hands-on activities under the guidance of their Biology Facilitator Ms. Monica Ansari:

Know Your Blood Pressure and Electrocardiogram (ECG)

These activities gave students practical insights into key health concepts.

In the Know Your Blood Pressure session, students used a stethoscope and sphygmomanometer to measure systolic and diastolic pressure. They learned about the significance of these readings in assessing cardiovascular health, gaining hands-on experience with medical tools and understanding how blood pressure reflects heart function.

During the ECG activity, students explored the basics of interpreting an electrocardiogram. Through graphs and medical reports, they studied ECG patterns, gaining a clear understanding of the heart's electrical activity and its importance in diagnosing heart conditions.

This interactive approach not only made learning fun but also helped students bridge the gap between theory and real-world medical practices. It was a highly enriching experience, leaving them both informed and excited about the subject matter.
