MicroStation, Licensing from Home-Working in a Disconnected Mode
With recent events in our changing world, our working landscape has also changed. We now find ourselves working from home. Adjusting to a home based or virtually connected workplace. While working in your organizations office licensing rarely became an issue, working from home is a different situation.
Maybe your home internet connection is just slow, spotty, maybe nonexistent, as you work remotely off a laptop or desktop. A common misconception is that MicroStation requires constant internet connectivity. Nothing could be further from the truth. There are variety of options, some set up by your Administrators. MicroStation and typically all CONNECT based Bentley Products can certainly work and obtain licenses with or without internet connection for a short or extended period of time. There are a myriad of options.
