The Financial Literacy Question My Team Is Sick Of
My team has to put up with a lot of talk about dogs and finances.
If you don’t know:
💰 What it costs your household to live each month
💰 What the total amount of income after tax coming into your household is each month
💰 What your costs represent as a percentage of your income - if your costs exceed 60%, you might be experiencing financial stress.
💰 What your superannuation balance is, and how much it grew by in the last financial year
💰 How to access all of your accounts and pay your bills
💰 What your debt to equity ratio is
💰 If you have a current will and power of attorney that you are happy with
I’m not having it!
Why? Because financial knowledge is empowering (albeit sometimes overwhelming).
Without it, you:
🫶🏻Can’t make better decisions and forge a path forward.
😔Can feel trapped in a job or relationship that does not serve you
🫡Can feel controlled
It is never too late to increase your financial literacy. Today is a great day to start!
