I noticed my plant had root rot because I was watering too frequently and my the roots of my plants were sitting in the excess water. I started the root rot treatment by removing all the brown and mushy roots before potting it in fresh soil. I'll be more careful about watering this plant now, but luckily the foliage was still healthy and didn't have any damage!
