Hello, fellow Kotliners!
It's time for our next virtual get-together. This time Anton Arhipov will give us his talk "Idiomatic Kotlin".
Here is the abstract:
It's easy to start using Kotlin — it's like Java, so your experience will easily let you start programming in Java style. However, to take full advantage of the language, learning Kotlin best practices is a must. Kotlin provides a number of features for writing concise and readable code. In this session, we'll take a look at Kotlin features that make the programs look beautiful and more readable.
About the speaker:
Anton is a Developer Advocate in Kotlin team at JetBrains. His professional interests include programming languages and developer tooling. Java Champion since 2014. Anton is also a co-organizer of DevClub.eu, a local developers community in Tallinn, Estonia.
