All net new jobs in the United States are created by businesses under five years old. Yet, many governments make it harder on those who make and create jobs to be successful. Removing or eliminating barriers for new, young companies to start and grow is critical to expanding entrepreneurial opportunity for all. New businesses advance homegrown jobs, increase GDP and productivity, lower inequality, raise incomes, grow community wealth and lead to less poverty. Right to Start is leading civic change efforts throughout the United States by working on changing minds, changing policies and changing communities so that everyone can grow their entrepreneurial dreams.

Explore new emerging policies that foster entrepreneurship that are being signed into law or being implemented in states throughout the US. Additionally, discussed is what is happening on the federal level to spur new and small business success, as well as things that could improve moving forward.
