Today in the Fishroom ~ Red Morph Dovii with fry
Female is out of the clay tunnel and swimming around with the fry. The male is on the divided half of the tank. Fry grouping is pretty loose compared to what I see with other newly born fish. They spread out quickly. Parental duties are to keep them together. No doubt first batch learning curve for mom. One thing I notices about Dovii fry in particular is that they appear larger than other CA cichlid fry.
