IJN Mikasa 1/200 Scale, Pontos & MK1 Design Detail Sets, Part 47 Stern and Hull Details
This is a build of the 2016 Merit International release of the IJN Mikasa-1905 in 1/200 (Kit # 62004). Detail sets used are the Pontos Models Detail Set 23008F1, which is supplemented with the MK1 Design Deluxe Detail Set MD-20017. This is my 1st plastic ship so a lot of the techniques shown are being done for the first time.
This part covers the installation of multiple parts on the bridge decks, hull sides and stern areas. Many of these parts were previously prepared in earlier videos. I intended doing the gun port hatches as well but these will be carried over to the next video, which should be the last one.
