How-to No. 39 — Automated processing of human filled application forms with ABBYY FlexiCapture.
For opening of a loyalty, debit or credit card, it is usually necessary to complete an application form. Such forms are usually printed on paper and then are given for filling to customers. Very often information indicated by customers is transferred into corporate databases manually by company or bank employees. The more clients company/bank has, the more employees are involved in application forms processing. However there is a way to automate this process with data capture software by ABBYY.
