13 months Relocation
Today's video covers the 13 months the Historical Society spent relocating the Twitchell-Rowland Homestead. The old farm was being developed and the two centuries old building was slated for demolition. With the help of many donors, volunteers and the donation of land on Towner Lane, the Homestead was moved and lovingly restored. It now serves as our history education/preservation center. The online giving program on April 24 and 25 will help preserve the Homestead in the future.
