The Twitchell-Rowland Homestead was saved from demolition and moved in 2006 to 60 Towner Lane, where it serves as a museum and history center. Having served as a private school in 1850, Mr. Munn's schoolhosue still stands at 561 Oxford Road. It is in need of repairs and preservation. By bringing them together, the Oxford Historical Society will save another part of Oxford's heritage.
