Asteroid Hyalosis
Beautiful starry crystals are found suspended in the vitreous cavity in the eye. These brilliant crystals are known as Asteroid hyalosis, given the resemblance to asteroids in the milky way. It's a benign condition with a favorable prognosis. In severe cases where the patient is severely symptomatic, surgical management with pars plana vitrectomy can be pursued to remove the floaters.
