Iris Claw Lens Implant
The artisan iris claw lens is a rigid single piece IOL made of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA).
Enclavation, or folding iris tissue into the claw, is used to fixate the lens in position.
It can be used to treat refractive error patients that do not qualify for lasik or as a secondary lens in aphakia.
