In this ACT Math prep video, we cover two classic ACT math problems involving averages. In the first example, we are taking away a score from a group of scores and finding the new average. In the second example, we are adding a value to a group of numbers and finding the new average. Using identical numbers for sets allow us to solve problems like these quickly and efficiently.
