DIY Faux Stained Glass
Supplies needed to make your own tissue paper stained glass jars:
-A container: Jar or Bottle, (plastic or glass)
-Tissue paper -assorted colors
-Glue: School (matte) or Craft (glossy)
-Extra: LED lights, tea lights, or led light string that’s made for centerpieces
To Make:
Prepare your container: Clean or cut to desire uses.
Step One: Apply glue to jar in small sections
Step Two: Apply pieces of tissue paper to the area where you applied the glue. Apply one piece at a time.
Step Three: Continue to apply glue and tissue paper, layering as necessary.
Step Four: Once your tissue paper stained glass jar is covered, allow to dry and apply a second coat of glue over the entire surface. Allow to dry (again) and it’s ready for use.
Step Five: With the marker, draw in line where the paper overlap or meets.
Extra Step: Place your light in the container.
