My plan was to hike along the beautiful North Downs Way from Canterbury through to Wye, which is a short 15mile section. It is otherwise known as the Pilgrims Way, and is steeped in history as the North Downs Way stretches 100miles from Canterbury to Farnham. My walk started at Canterbury West Station which is less than 30mins from London's St Pancras for those looking to escape London on a Sunday morning.
In late April it was a little early for the bluebells but there were some patches out on the Kings Wood forest floors. I passed through Blean Woods and then to Chartham Hatch. Next stop was at Chilham and some DJI Mini Pro footage of the Chilham Castle. A short cook up and coffee with my Jetboil in the kIngs Wood.
It was a really pleasant hike, and a nice way to blow the cobwebs away from the week.
