How Tent-Making Bats Adapted to Build Leafy Homes
While most bats move into existing properties like caves or hollow trees, a few species can build their own homes. For example, bats like the Honduran white bat can build a simple tent using leaves - a shelter from predators and harsh weather. These tent-making bats demonstrate another case of animal architecture.
