Corporate Governance and Business Ethics
In this class we will survey the main forms of doing business, such as sole proprietorships, general partnerships, LLCs, as well as privately-held and publicly traded corporations. In addition, we discuss why so many of the largest U.S. corporations are registered in the State of Delaware. Lastly, we will explore two major theories of business ethics: the Friedman Doctrine and the Stakeholder Model.
