About the steel foundry:
Grand Banks Steel Inc Foundry (also known as the East Los Santos Foundry) is a business in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online located on a lot that straddles Cypress Flats and Murrieta Heights in East Los Santos.
It is a steel foundry, which is a factory that specializes in the melting of steel and casting it into various shapes using molds.
In 2013, Franklin Clinton, Michael De Santa and Trevor Philips use this foundry as the location for their planned climactic shootout with Merryweather in the canon ending of Grand Theft Auto V.
In 2017, Agent ULP from the International Affairs Agency is kept hostage in the foundry during Setup: Rescue ULP, with the GTA Online Protagonist being sent to rescue him.
