Information Sought in Fatal Hit-and-Run
Major Case Unit detectives are seeking the public's help now that they have determined the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian in Ronkonkoma on May 20 is a dark-colored Toyota Prius.
Elyse Crivaro, who was in the roadway, was struck by a car traveling southbound on Ronkonkoma Avenue at Third Street on May 20 at approximately 3:20 a.m.
Crivaro, 21, of Holbrook, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
