Renati Tutorial: Opt-in Clipboard
Welcome to your Renati OS device. This tutorial will show you how to set up the opt-in Clipboard copy and paste feature.
First, go to settings, scroll down to find security and select it. Now click to enable copy and paste. Once you review the disclaimer about the inherent risks of clipboards, click, I understand and press OK. The clipboard is now ready to use.
Select a note to copy from, click on the edit button, press and hold to highlight some text and select copy.
You can now go back and open up a conversation. If you press and hold in the text field, you can now paste your content..
For extra security, you can also set a timer for this message to self-destruct on all devices. Just select the time and press OK, and then send.
The Clipboard can optionally be enabled as long as you understand the inherit risks associated with how clipboard data is used and the risks associated with RAM and chip off techniques. As an added security feature we have disabled the underlying ADB functionality to prevent a threat actor from attempting to execute ADB screen record or ADB screencap.
