• Making Links Between Web Based 3D Scenes, ...
This tutorial shows how to set up a home link in web based 3D scene using Blender and blend4web. The tutorial shows how to parent a home icon to the camera so that it appears not to move.
The tutorial shows how to rotate and move the home icon in about axis that are local to the camera so that the icon is always ‘square on’ to the camera.
The icon is scaled by a factor of a tenth, making it small so that it can be place close to the camera. The icon is placed close to the camera so that as the camera moves the icon does not go behind objects.
The tutorial shows how to set up the blend4web logic to link to a home web page (or could be a home 3D scene). It shows how to use the ‘Page Redirect’ logic node in Blender’s node editor window.
The scenes are exported as blend4web html files.
