HOW CAN I EFFECTIVELY MANAGE COLORS IN POWERPOINT PRESENTATIONS? 🤔
Hi, my name is Maurizio La Cava, I am the founder of Lean Presentation Design and in this webinar we’ll talk about the use of colors in PowerPoint.
The Lean methodology is focused on efficiency and effectiveness, with efficiency meaning minimizing waste of time and resources and effectiveness meaning that our presentations effectively communicate our message to our audience.
There are various theories on how colors impact mood and the effectiveness of presentations, so we must carefully choose our colors and consider our audience and the context in which we will present. In this real estate presentation, key points were summarized using the focus effect. In this webinar, I will show you how to create the focus effect in PowerPoint.
There are different color combinations, such as monochromatic and complementary, that can be used depending on the needs. In the video I’ll show you how to calculate colors using the Adobe Color software, which is available for free online.
Then I will explain how to reorganize a presentation so as to create a focus on the elements we want to highlight. I will do this also based on precise case studies, so that I can show you step by step how to intervene on a presentation to make it more effective and make sure that it convinces the audience to adopt our proposals.
I will show you some useful tricks, like using the rule of thirds, which divides the slide space into three equal parts to best distribute the content. Some icons can also be added to make the content more visually appealing.
Another important thing is shadowing, or observing others work, using the brain during the creation of presentations and not always being sure of the final result, but evaluating if it works in the end.
