My guitar said, "hold me, love me :||" so I did. And time stood still long enough for me to realize that an extra 24 hours had passed. Other than that nonsense, I'm a huge fan of this Beatles single, so I covered it riff-to-riff. Fancy riffs bookend the song, then it's all repetitive easy chord progression business with a couple verses, a bridge that emphasizes the value of holding and loving (with a fun clap, double-clap bit), and a chorus that hits you with a surprise A major. Electric, acoustic, bass, and for once, no piano. Yes, I sang the actual harmonies - when you expect them (if you know what to expect). And a little more. Thanks for this one, guys.
