I use it on my Sony A6300 but this thing works with almost all Sony's recent mirrorless camera releases, APS-C, Full Frame etc.
Just point it at the camera's infrared receiver and press either the shutter release or 2 second release timer and the camera will do so as you command. Make sure the remote control function is enabled in the camera's menu settings.
Great for self portraits and less than 1/2 of original Sony remote.
