LATE OCTOBER ... DELTA STRIPERS !
We fished Halloween eve for 'Fall' run Striped Bass. As usual Jon has the most success catching a couple nice Stripers, one on a Spoon while jigging on the outgoing tide, the other was caught while trolling on the bottom of the incoming tide. The 'Oldman' had a wayward Salmon 'Blow-Up' on his glide bait, but that was it. The day was short lived due to the first rain storm of the year, which brought gusty winds. Things can only improve as the rain approaches and cooler water temperatures. On the Calif. Delta Halloween eve ... "Don't be scared"
