I want be a Yoga Teacher, helping to inspire people of all shapes & sizes gain the benefits of yoga. Hello, my name is Rita. I’ve been practicing yoga since 2006, after suffering a stroke. Yoga helped me be gain my health back. At that time, I practiced yoga on my own, in my home. Why? Simply put, I would get frustrated. I went into yoga studios and felt like I didn’t fit in. I didn’t see people who looked more like me. A little curvy; not the usual yoga body stereotype.

Turning 50 last year, I looked at reinventing my life and career. I want to help people of all shapes and sizes learn yoga and be inspired to improve their lives. To do that, I want to be a Yoga teacher.
Here’s where I need your help and financial support. The amount I originally thought I would need for the training is $2,700. HOWEVER!!!! Awesome News!!!! I applied for and received a partial scholarship from the Sundara College School of Life.
This scholarship was such an amazing & surprising gift. But I need your help! Now, I need to raise 1,800.
