iPhone 12 Storage Space Options Explained
Is more iPhone 12 storage space worth the extra money? Whether you're buying a new iPhone, iPad, Mac, MacBook, or AppleTV you will always have to decide how much storage space is worth spending more money on an already expensive phone. In this video I will explain why Apple wants you to use up all of your iPhone's storage space in order to make even more money.
Should you spend the extra money to upgrade the iPhone 12's internal storage capacity? There is a $300 price difference between the 2020 iPhone 12 Pro Max's 128GB variant and the highest 512GB option, which is a lot of money. Even the iPhone 12 Mini has a $150 difference between the 64GB and 256GB options, and a $50 difference between the 64GB and 128GB option. Apple wants you to either spend a lot of money up front for the luxury of having this extra storage space, or to fork over money every month for iCloud Storage, which can run you up to $10 a month for 2TB of space! To top that off, they will try to convince you to buy the Apple One subscription bundle to "save money", which could end up costing you $30/mo or $360/yr. I prefer to buy the higher storage options up front usually, but with the increase in pricing the iCloud subscription is starting to look more appealing. Make sure you educate yourself on the marketing tactics Apple is using to get people to run out of storage space and make even more money!
