iPhone 12 Mini MagSafe Charger is SLOWER
MagSafe on the iPhone 12 Mini will charge slower than on other iPhone 12 Models according to Apple. The iPhone 12 Mini MagSafe charging power will be limited to 12W, whereas the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max will all able to charge with the full 15W power that MagSafe can deliver. This is kind of concerning considering the $40 price of the MagSafe charger, and another $20 for an Apple charging brick for it. Combined with the drama surrounding the MagSafe accessories not being that great, the slower charging on the iPhone 12 mini may have people questioning whether or not MagSafe was ready for prime time. I don't believe this will dissuade anyone from buying the iPhone 12 mini, but it may push a few people to buy the higher end iPhone 12 models instead. The smaller battery inside the iPhone 12 mini may render the slower charging irrelevant, however it does show the limitations of the smaller form factor.
