Glen Cannich and Glen Affric - 07-11-2023
Three sites in Glen Cannich and Glen Affric, around one hour's drive from Inverness. This is a famous scenic area but these sites also have obvious human developments. The first two have hydroelectric dams and the third has a backdrop of commercial forestry. Also, in this area of such natural beauty, there is always some mechanical sound: electrical machinery, water being released or aircraft overhead.
