This video presents the electromagnetic mode analysis of a dielectric waveguide performed using COMSOL Multiphysics. In the results section, several critical parameters are extracted, including the identification of supported propagating modes, computation of effective refractive index, visualization of mode field distributions, evaluation of power confinement, and analysis of the dispersion characteristics as a function of waveguide width.
