Viral by...doing nothing?! @sspencerevans allegedly stared at a wall while standing for an incredible ten hours, garnering over 2 million views. But did that really happen? Our editor Simon tries it out! 😼🕵️♂️
People in the comments think Spencer actually only stared at the wall for ten minutes. That's why we set Simon's timer to ten minutes – not hours – and even that's pretty exhausting!😅
And if we speed up Simon's video to the length of Spencer's time-lapse, it looks pretty much the same. 🎥 So it's very possible that Spencer really only stood for 10 minutes.
We confronted Spencer about it, but unfortunately he didn't respond. ❌
And fun fact: The current world record for standing still was held by Akshinthala Seshu Babu from India, with over 36 hours!!! 🏆
