Henrique Hoffman's Tribute to Milton Nascimento: Modernos Eternos | ARCHITECTURE HUNTER
Inspired by the timeless song “Coração de Estudante” by Milton Nascimento and Wagner Tiso, architect Henrique Hoffman and Hunter Douglas Brasil collaborated to reimagine the façade of the historic Instituto de Educação de Minas Gerais (IEMG) for the Modernos Eternos architecture and design exhibition in Belo Horizonte. The intervention, “Há que se cuidar do broto,” is divided into three acts—Seeds, Sprout, and Flower and Fruit—each symbolizing different stages of growth. Utilizing Hunter Douglas Brasil' architectural panels, the façade features a unique kinetic design with pink perforated sheets that move with the wind, creating a visual and historical reconstruction. The project highlights the importance of education, aligning with IEMG’s motto, and will remain after the exhibition ends. Dive into In Loco With Henrique Hoffman!
