How to Bypass Windows Password?
Following is for Educational Purposes only.
You forgot your password and not able to login.
This works for Local Accounts only.
Press and hold left shift key while selecting the restart button.
You can release the Left Shift Key once the recovery console appears.
Click TroubleShoot.
Click Advanced Options.
Click Command Prompt.
Type dir to show the list of directories.
Type cd windows to go into that directory
type cd system32 and start typing the following command
ren utilman.exe utilman1.exe
Type ren cmd.exe utilman.exe
Close the command prompt.
Select Continue.
Once you are in the lock screen, click this icon.
Type this inside the command prompt - control userpasswords2
This will open the User account window.
Select the account and click on Reset Password
If it is grey out, that means it has Microsoft Account and not Local Account.
Enter the new Password or leave it blank and confirm it.
Now just click the arrow button to login
