Dreamwalker - Forever Adrift OFFICIAL DRUM PLAYTHROUGH by JD Walker
Hey everyone! It's been a little bit since I've released a playthrough of some original material. Here's "Forever Adrift" off of Dreamwalker's forthcoming record "Sun Through A Harsh Winter". This is the first of several playthroughs recorded and produced by Danny Cullman (Central 8 Studios, Wide Eyes) and Skylar Remington (SkyRem Media, Belle & Remington). We shot this in an old church with some fancy lights and OH MAN does it look and sound good! You should have heard the reverberation through the sanctuary.... just unreal. Huge thank you to Danny and Skylar for their hard work on this project, my bandmates in Dreamwalker, my sponsors (Attack Drumheads and Los Cabos Drumsticks... more on that in a minute), and everyone I've had the pleasure of sharing the stage with or done projects for in the studio. Now, on to Los Cabos... I'm officially a Los Cabos Drumsticks artist! Huge thank you to Tyson Dang of Red Handed Denial and Crazy88 for introducing me to this amazing company, and Phil over at LCD for hooking me up on the first batch. In this video I was running the Red Hickory 2B model, but moving forward I'll be using the Dave McGraw Pro Series model exclusively. These sticks are CRAZY durable and feel amazing. They're truly an extension of the hands, and I feel 100% uninhibited while playing them. They're so durable that during the Dreamwalker video session, I broke 1 stick all day. That was 5 songs, 5 takes each song, and some other one-off shots. 1 STICK! Unreal. Thank you, Los Cabos! I'm excited to be apart of the #LCDartistfam.
