JUST!JOSH (Josh Rowe) is a music composer, songwriter & pianist based in the UK. He believes in telling stories through music, and uses the piano to tell these stories.
About The Video: Jamie's Lament tells the story of Jamie MacPherson, a relative of Josh's who lived in and 17th century and was hung for crimes he did not commit. However, the executioner knew of his innocence and that a pardon was on its way so to still complete his execution he changed the town's clock forward by 15 minutes to give him time to complete his sentence. Before Jamie died he composed a piece of music still played today called MacPherson's Lament, an extract of which in the Clan Macpherson Museum (Josh's family museum) is what this piece is based on.
