The gaming industry has been around for decades, but many of us only came into contact with this world relatively recently. My gaming childhood was spent in the 90s, playing on an old Pentium and MS-DOS. Believe it or not, there was no internet back then. None. None. Games were distributed in shady establishments, by shady individuals, on CD-ROMs, and were called "The 200 Best Games of All Genres." The discs themselves had a rather murky origin, just like the primitive hackers who filled them with content.
That time is long gone, but it lives on in the memories of those who lived through that era. And today, I want to present to you my top 10 games from the first such collection. Some will find them wildly antiquated and a cluttered collection of pixels, while for others, they'll be a whole little universe of nostalgia and warmth.
