Higher Higher by Rawin (Harder 7*) | Geometry Dash 2.2
What an amazing level for its time, Higher Higher is a 2.1 level made by Rawin, this creator easily became one of my favorites through the game's history. I think this level shows how well he can immerse the player in a level, with any style. For a pixel themed level, it is absolutely stunning visually and gameplay-wise. The colors, and pulses are really good looking, most of the time they are really subtle, but work so well at giving intensity, especially in the backgrounds. I think that the transitions are probably the best parts of the level, each of them is unique and flows.
The gameplay here might be a bit classic, but it does the job at making the level sightreadable. There is one transition at 0:24 that is a bit too sudden because of the orbs appearing too late. The sync is great but could've been better in the neon part, some clicks are delayed. My favorite part has to be the desert part near the end, everything is great, the unique structures shapes adds a lot to the atmosphere!
Overall a beautiful and fun level that absolutely deserves its epic rating!
