High Life by Migueword (Insane 9*) Geometry Dash 2.2
I revisited this classic level for a showcase and in my opinion, it entirely deserves one on this channel.
High Life is an XL level made by Migueword in 2.0. It's considered as one of the best levels of its time and an absolute classic in GD. Honestly I can understand why so. The execution of the different styles is very well made. I like how the level starts off in 1.9 without any movement and then at the drop goes 2.0 with the new mechanics, at the time. I also really like the gameplay, it's fairly balanced for a nine stars, but some parts especially in the drop, such as the first red themed ball and the bossfight are a bit unpredictable with some clicks. I personally had to use practice to make sure I don't die to some memory clicks. Still for its time, it's an incredible level with great gameplay and innovative decoration! The fact that it stays consistent in decoration for 3 minutes is pretty impressive too.
Overall a very fun level to play, an amazing throwback to the 2.0 update!
