Objects are a common data structure in JavaScript, also known as hash tables or dictionaries in other languages. Objects are typically used to store unordered, named attributes of a given entity. For example, we might want to represent an address book entry as an Object with attributes such as name, address, and postal code. We can also represent a playing card as an Object with attributes such as name, rank, and suit.
Objects can be used with arrays to represent an ordered list of entities, where each entity has unordered named attributes. For example, a deck of cards. We run through sample logic for shuffling a deck of cards.
