My old coat was well worn and as you all know it is important to have good quality safety clothing that will protect you from the elements when truck driving, this Portwest Hi-Vis coat review was recorded as I opened it from the packaging to give my honest opinion, the coat at first looked very big, but when I tried it on it fitted me perfectly to my horror! a little bit of dieting is required I think.
The coat itself is very comfortable to wear and has a concealed hood within the collar for rainy weather with easy-to-use toggles to keep the hood from flopping over your face, the quilted lining is very warm and the stitching is very good.
The zip feels robust and operates as it should, there are two large pockets on the front of the coat with rain flaps and an inner pocket which is a nice size with a velcro fastening.
The hi vis coat for trucking is a nice colour yellow with reflective banding and it also has a nice contrasting black colour which really looks good.
