Railfanning in Tampa and Lakeland
Headed out for a day of railfanning in search of action not commonly seen on weekends. Although it was slow, Tampa and Lakeland had come through for me. We start out by Tampa at CSX's Yeoman Yard where I caught an empty coal train heading north, I then wandered over to Tampa Union Station to catch P091, Amtraks Silver Star and also caught one of Ybor City's trolley cars crossing the diamond after 91 cleared the 14th street diamond. Heading back north just before sundown, we catch 2 freights in Lakeland, O738 and finally Q453 on its way to work Winston Yard before before its turn south to Miami.
