Visit To Folkston, March 2021
Folkston, Georgia has to be one of the best locations for railfans and always has action that never disappoints. This trip was extremely rewarding from beginning to end. I spent 2 days there gathering exciting footage. Everything from foreign power to special equipment moves and as a bonus, I caught 2 of CSX's special locomotives, the 911 "Spirit of our First Responders" and 3194 "Spirit of our Law Enforcement". The action does not stop there! CSXT 8906, SD70ace Tier 4 makes an appearance pulling a manifest freight southbound from Waycross. To end the video, I found myself catching one of the rarest catches ever, A CSX work train not only having a BNSF engine trailing, but its also pulling an ethanol consist back north.
