Current Contract: Task c. Slot Machine Gambling Facility Services
On March 10, 2023, during Problem Gambling Awareness Month, Florida Council on Compulsive Gambling (FCCG) Executive Director Jennifer Kruse presented to the Florida Gaming Control Commission about the programs and services FCCG provides throughout Florida.
Here Kruse describes FCCG initiatives under Task c. Slot Machine Gambling Facility Services of its current contract with the Florida Gaming Control Commission. Through its Responsible Gambling and Player Protection Program (RGPPP), FCCG provides Florida's eight slot-licensed gambling facilities (racinos) with HelpLine signage, brochures, ongoing materials, self-exclusion folders for security staff, ongoing education and awareness for employees through new-hire training and annual refresher training, and site visits to determine effectiveness of facility HelpLine signage and self-exclusion procedures.
