This video explains whether cyclopropenium cation obey Huckel's rule or not.
A compound is aromatic if it possess the following characteristics
1. The compounds should be cyclic
2. They must be planar
3. They should contain delocalized pi electrons system.
4. They must satisfy Huckel’s rule (presence of (4n +2)π electrons
The given compound is non- aromatic, because
Even though it is cyclic and planar, it does not contain delocalised pi electron system.
It obeys Huckel's Rule.
